1      Rock/step L foot behind R allowing body to turn toward L diagonal

2      Replace weight onto R foot facing front

3      Step L foot to the side and make 1/4 turn R

4      Make further 1/4 turn R on ball of L foot & step R foot to the side

5-6    Step/slide L foot across in front of R, step/slide R foot to the side


7&8    Kick L foot forward, step slightly backward on ball of L,

       step R across in front of L foot

9-10   Step L to the side, step R across behind L & make 1/4 turn L

11&12  Slide/shuffle forward L-R-L


13-15  Rock/step R foot forward, rock backward onto L,

       rock/step R foot backward slightly past L foot

16-18  Rock/step L foot forward, rock backward onto R,

       step L backward slightly past R foot

       *note that these steps will move backward

19-20  Kick R foot forward, step backward R

21-22  Step L foot backward & make 1/4 turn L,

       rock/replace weight onto R foot stepping it slightly forward

33     Step L foot across in front of R toward R diagonal

34-35  Rock/step R foot forward to R diagonal, rock/replace weight on L foot

36     Rock/replace weight onto R foot


37-38  Step forward on L foot, make 1/2 turn L on ball of L foot swinging R foot

       around close to floor

39     Step R foot slightly forward

&40    Make full turn L on ball of R foot, step L foot slightly forward on R

41     Hold

&42    Step R foot slightly forward starting a full turn L,

       step L beside R heel and complete the turn and taking the weight on the L foot

       (feet will be close together at the completion of this turn with L slightly

       forward of R)


43-44  Rock/step R foot forward, rock backward onto L

&45    Step R foot backward toward R diagonal, step L foot back to cross (lock) in

       front of R

&46    Step R foot backward, rock/step L foot backward

47     Rock forward onto R foot and make 1/4 turn L

&48    Slide L toe to touch to the side and slightly forward, hold

Tag; There is a 6 count tag added after the 3rd wall if using the suggested song. You

will start the tag facing the back wall and then restart the dance facing the front

wall.

1-2    Step L foot across behind R, step R to the side & make 1/4 turn R

3      Make 1/4 turn R on ball of R foot & rock/step L foot to side

4      Rock/replace weight onto R foot

5-6    Step L across in front of R, step R foot to the side


Choreographers Note; I seem to have an attraction to waltz music as so much of it

makes me want to dance & stepping out to a good waltz makes me feel like I could

almost fly - we all have our quirks, this is mine!! I also think this is a very pretty

piece of music and like the lyrics of this song a lot - I have always believed the

saying

"at 20 you have the face you were born with, at 40, the face you have earned"

This dance, with the exception of the last 12 counts is, I believe, not very hard

despite the syncopation's because it is slow and for this reason it is important that

you listen to the music and not rush the steps, especially on the rock steps. The turn

for counts 40-42 could be taken out and replaced with steps forward to make the dance

easy enough for most dancers to cope with.
