He chose the song and told me the steps he would like to see in the dance--and I wrote it for him. I will be teaching the dance at a Whitehorse Bootscooters Social tonight in Melbourne. The date is 27th April 2001. Fred is currently in Box Hill Hospital with his family gathered around him and is not expected to make it through the night. I pray that once again he beats the odds as he has done over the past 12 months, but inside me I know that time is running out for Fred. All good things must come to an end, and Fred was most definitely a good thing. I salute you Fred and will miss you more than words can say. To everyone out there.......Enjoy your life and don't waste a minute! See you on the floor sometime…. Jan POSTSCRIPT- Fred Adams died 6 hours after I taught his dance. The extra 32 steps were added on 29th April because of the length of the music. |
