The turns do make this dance tricky, although I am happy that almost everyone that does it likes it enough to persevere. *After the first repetition there is a 4 count tag 1,2 Step R to the side, rock-step L across in front of R 3 Rock-replace weight onto R 4 Make 1/4 turn L on ball of R foot and step L forward (small step) *After the second repetition there is a restart, it is simply a matter of doing the first 16 counts of the dance before restarting from count 1 again. *After the third repetition there is another 4 count tag which is the same as the first *Although this is technically a 4 Wall dance, the tags will turn you to face different walls so that repetitions 1 & 2 both start facing the front wall. Reps 3,4 &5 all start facing 3 o'clock wall. Rep 6 faces the back wall and is the last repetition with only 32 counts so you will finish facing front. The dance is not too fast, so I hope that will help to make it a little easier, and it should fit to any phrased Cha Cha about the same speed if you want to take out the tags. Another CD that I have owned for quite a long time, and certainly not easily available unfortunately as it really is good, although I have it on my CD Compilation No.5 . It was originally sung by the composer Dean Dillon on his CD 'Hot Country & Single' although that version (to me) isn't as good as this one. |
