STEPS                           PATTERN OF DANCE

1-3    Step L behind R, Making 1/4 turn right rock/step fwd on R, Rock back on L

4-6    Waltz back R,L,R

7-9    Step L over R towards R front corner, Rock/step R to R, Rock/return wt to L

10-12  Step R over L towards L front corner, Rock/step L to L, Rock/return wt to R

13-15  Waltz fwd L,R,L

16-18  Step back on R, Making 1/4 turn left step L beside R, Step R beside L

19-21  Step fwd on L, Step fwd on R, Pivot 1/2 turn left transferring wt to L

22-24  Waltz fwd R,L,R

On walls 2, 4 and 6 please add the following 6 counts

1-3    Step fwd on L, Rock/step R to right, Rock/return wt to L   

4-6    Step R behind L, Rock/step L to left, Rock/return wt to R

CHOREOGRAPHERS NOTE:

This music for this beginner waltz is beautiful I think ,and I know

I am probably showing my ignorance here, but I had never heard

of The Desert Rose Band before.  They have a terrific sound don't you agree?

The song is slow enough to let you think about what comes next and it only

lasts for 2 minutes and 45 seconds - which  is just perfect for a beginner dance.

The steps are not hard, yet they are good enough to keep you interested in the dance and having to add the extra 6 counts will keep your mind on the job.

You dance 8 full walls adding the extra 6 counts to the 2nd, 4th and 6th walls.

Wall 9 is the last wall and we only dance 12 counts before the music ends.

You start wall 9 facing the front and for a nice ending to the

dance do the  first 6 counts as scripted and then do this............

7-9    Step L across R, Rock/step R to right, Making 1/4 turn rock fwd onto L

10-12  Waltz fwd R,L,R 

       The music then pauses, when it resumes and she sings the word "love" do this.

13,14  Big step fwd on L, Slide R to L
