DANCE:         32 counts x 2 (2 stages), Two Walls, 

               A TEACHING TOOL FOR BEGINNERS, 120 bpm

               It teaches a vine, heel splits, change of weight, toe struts, touch

               steps, rock steps, scuffs and pivot turns.

STEPS          PATTERN OF DANCE

1-4    Step R to right, Step L behind R, Step R to right, Hitch L (vine right)

5-8    Step L to left, Step R behind L, Step L to left, Hitch R (vine left)


9-12   Step back R,L,R Hitch L (vine back)

13-16  Walk fwd L,R,L  Stomp R beside L (vine fwd)


17,18  Turn heels apart (R heel to R, L heel to L), Return heels together

19,20  Turn heels apart (R heel to R, L heel to L), Return heels together


21,22  Touch R heel fwd, Step R beside L

23,24  Touch L heel fwd, Step L beside R


25,26  Step back on R toe, Drop R heel to floor (toe strut)

27,28  Step back on L toe, Drop L heel to floor (toe strut)

29,30  Step back on R toe, Drop R heel to floor (toe strut)

31,32  Step back on L, Touch R beside L keeping wt on L

you can learn the next 32 counts -  which makes it a 2 wall dance.

33-36  Rock/step R to right, Rock/return wt to L, Step fwd on R, Hold

37-40  Rock/step L to left, Rock/return wt to R, Step fwd on L, Hold


41-44  Rock/step fwd on R, Rock back on L, Step back on R, Hold

45-48  Rock/step back on L, Rock fwd on R, Step fwd on L, Hold


49-52  Step fwd on R, Scuff L fwd, Step fwd on L, Scuff R fwd

53-56  Step fwd on R, Hold, Pivot 1/4 left transferring wt to L, Hold


57-60  Step fwd on R, Hold, Pivot 1/4 left transferring wt to L, Hold

61=64  Step fwd on R, Scuff L fwd, Step fwd on L, Touch R beside L


This dance was designed as a learning tool for new dancers. It should be taught in 2 stages to be effective.  In our beginner classes we found that there was a need  for this calibre  of dance. It made teaching (and learning)  so much easier.
