The dance is a Mambo- Cha Cha 'hybrid', so in keeping with the Latin beat, try to use your hips, and because of the fast tempo, dancing the cha cha's almost in place rather than travelling on them should feel best. Although the count sequence may look confusing at first, once you've got the steps and can concentrate on the music I think you should have no trouble hearing each sequence.
