1,2,3     Step back on L, Sweep R behind L for 2 beats

4,5,6     Step R behind L, Step L to left, Step R to right (serpentine step)

7,8,9     Step L behind R, Step R to right, Step L to left (serpentine step)

10,11,12  Step back on R, Touch L beside R, Hold


Cross Waltz, Waltz Back, Cross Waltz, Step Back Touch Hold

13,14,15  Step L across R, Step R L together while turning body towards left diagonal

          (10 minutes to 12)

16,17,18  Step back on R, Step L R together while turning body towards right diagonal

          (10 minutes past 12)

19,20,21  Step L across R, Step R L together while turning body towards left diagonal

          (10 minutes to 12)

22,23,24  Step back on R, Touch L beside R, Hold (still facing left diagonal)

* There are 3 restarts:

1) On wall 3 after count 30

2) On wall 6 after count 12

3) On wall 15 after count 30

All restarts are easily identified in the music--and are necessary for the flow of

the dance


This is a fast waltz and until you get more familiar with the steps it will

seem hard…. But do persevere with it because it's a lovely song and once

you have got the hang of it you will really like the dance too.

Don't be afraid to have a go at it because like I always say, the

only difference between a hard dance and an  easy one is practice.


Joni Harms has a terrific voice and she is definitely a favourite of mine.
